The team at Pharicode is full of passionate, skilled, and enthusiastic developers, architects, and engineers. If there is one thing we all have in common, it is our love for IT and business process improvement, especially for our federal clients.
The “Pharicode Feature” is a blog series that gives you an inside look at the work and lives of the consultants at Pharicode and how they started and built their careers in the industry. Our consultants share their stories and will lead you down the path that brought them to where they are today. Let’s dive in!
This “Pharicode Feature” spotlights Michael Kaufman, a ServiceNow Architect at Pharicode, based out of Plymouth, MN.
How were you first introduced to ServiceNow? What was your first job using the platform?
Michael: In 2011, I was an HP consultant on a sales call and the vendor continued to talk about ServiceNow. After the call, I looked up ServiceNow for the first time. Shortly after, I knew I had to change my path to become a ServiceNow consultant instead.
Give us a little more detail! What other jobs have you had working with ServiceNow?
Michael: After I became a ServiceNow consultant, I've worked for 168 different customers on hundreds of projects.
Working with so many customers, you get the opportunity to see a lot of different and creative ways to use ServiceNow. I've also seen ServiceNow evolve a lot since I started using it pre-Aspen.
What are your top skills, certifications, interests?
Michael: My top skills include Service Portal, Custom Applications, Integrations, Scripting, and an overall knowledge of the platform.
What are your plans for the future in your career and in the ServiceNow industry?
Michael: I'll just see where it takes me!
